Rules!
OK, so I have decided that every once in a while some rules need to be made aware, some apply just to men, others to everybody. But too many people are not learning them, so I got to get them out there.
If you plan on being a man learn to shake hands. A firm grip, whole hand, no limp wrist just the fingers. I went to shake a boys hand today and he gave me his left and didn’t know what to do. he was probably a 2nd or 3rd grader(oh he’s too young) Bullshit! I knew how to shake hands(general concept) and was excited when an adult would want to shake my hand it made me feel like they weren’t going to treat me like a child. And to the “shop teachers” out there it is a firm handshake not trying to crush it to show how strong your grip is, and if you grab at the fingers and squeeze so they can’t squeeze back they have the right to punch you!
Don’t wear the bands shirt to a concert. I know there are a lot of people going to be pissed at me because that is how they pick out the tools, and the tools are like, “hey, I really like the band so I want to show my support”. They know you like them hence buying a $20 ticket with a $25 “convinience fee”.
Thank the people who bring/cook your meal, I don’t care if it’s your mom, husband, waiter, guy at the firehouse, say thank you. nutrition is very important and a lot goes into meal making/planning so thank them for the food.
